Public Vote Terms & Conditions
By making a fundraising contribution through the Miss Arab Public Vote, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Purpose of the Public Vote
The Miss Arab Public Vote is a fundraising initiative supporting the charitable, educational, cultural, and community programs of the Arab American Organization, a nonprofit organization. As a thank-you for your contribution, you receive the opportunity to support your preferred contestant through the Public Vote.
2. Finality of Contributions
All fundraising contributions are final. Once a payment has been successfully processed, it cannot be canceled, reversed, transferred, exchanged, or refunded for any reason, including accidental purchases, duplicate transactions, contestant withdrawal, contestant disqualification, or dissatisfaction with the outcome of the competition.
3. No Guarantee of Winning
Making a fundraising contribution or supporting a contestant through the Public Vote does not guarantee that the contestant will win the Public Vote, receive any title, placement, award, scholarship, prize, or advance in the competition.
4. Determination of the Public Vote Winner
The Public Vote winner is determined solely by the total fundraising amount credited to each contestant before voting closes, not by the number of contributors, individual votes, or payment transactions.
5. Progressive Fundraising Goals
Public Vote fundraising goals increase progressively, with each completed goal automatically unlocking the next fundraising milestone until voting closes.
6. Voting Period
Only contributions successfully received and processed before the official voting deadline will be counted. Declined, incomplete, failed, reversed, refunded, or disputed transactions will not be credited.
7. Payment Processing
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards from cardholders worldwide. If your payment is declined or cannot be processed, the decision was made by your card issuer or financial institution, not by our payment system. Please contact your bank or card issuer directly for the reason for the decline and assistance in completing your transaction.
8. Authorized Payments, Chargebacks, and Payment Disputes
By submitting a contribution, you certify that you are the authorized cardholder or have the cardholder's authorization to use the payment method provided. You authorize the Arab American Organization to process your payment in the amount selected and acknowledge that your contribution is voluntary and final.
You agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal for any validly authorized transaction. If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, the corresponding voting credit may be immediately removed.
The Arab American Organization reserves the right to vigorously contest fraudulent, invalid, or abusive chargebacks with the payment processor, card issuer, and financial institution. The Organization further reserves the right to recover all applicable chargeback fees, collection costs, attorney's fees where permitted by law, court costs, administrative expenses, and any other damages or remedies available under applicable law resulting from an improper payment dispute.
9. Contestant Withdrawal or Disqualification
If a contestant withdraws, is disqualified, or becomes ineligible for any reason before or after your contribution, all contributions remain final and non-refundable. Contributions will continue to support the charitable programs of the Arab American Organization.
10. Fraud Prevention
The Arab American Organization reserves the right to investigate suspicious transactions or voting activity, reject fraudulent payments, remove invalid voting credits, suspend transactions, disqualify contestants involved in fraudulent conduct, and take any action necessary to preserve the integrity of the Public Vote.
11. Technical Issues
The Arab American Organization is not responsible for interruptions caused by internet service providers, payment processors, financial institutions, web hosting providers, or other events beyond its reasonable control. Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure accurate processing of eligible contributions.
12. Right to Modify or Interpret
The Arab American Organization reserves the right to interpret, amend, modify, suspend, or terminate the Public Vote program or these Terms & Conditions at any time to protect the fairness, security, integrity, and operation of the fundraising program and competition.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By completing your contribution, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions. You further acknowledge that your payment is a voluntary fundraising contribution supporting the charitable, educational, cultural, and community programs of the Arab American Organization and that any associated Public Vote privileges are provided in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
